Stage Coach Players Kicks Off 75th Season with a Year-Long Celebration, Announces First Live Production on Stage Since February 2020

DEKALB, ILL., March 26, 2021 — Stage Coach Players is kicking off their year-long 75th Season Celebration, marking the anniversary of their first ever production, “Pure as the Driven Snow,” with the announcement that “Come Back to the Five and Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean” will take the stage May 20-30, 2021.

“Pure as the Driven Snow” takes place on a dark and stormy night with Purity Dean, a working class girl with a secret, seeking shelter from the storm at an inn in Vermont. There is a classic villian, Mortimer Frothingham, a brave leading man, Leander, a bomb, daring escapes, and rescues. The Stage Coach Players production of the show took place at the White Shrine DeKalb Masonic Temple, previously located at 318 E. Locust Street in DeKalb.

Having weathered the storm of 2020 as we waited in the wings, Stage Coach Players will continue to celebrate their 75th season throughout the year.
