Four Old Broads

This play is a comedy to be directed by Anita Biletzky. She is looking for four women and a man in their 50s and older and two women in their 30s and 40s.

Something Rotten!

This is a musical comedy heavily featuring dancing taking place during the renaissance about a fictionized retelling of the first-ever musical. Director and musical director Jan Kuntz and John Feken are looking for people 15 and up. They hope to have actors who can do British accents, but it is not required. In addition, they are looking for dancers and specifically tap dancers. If you are only interested in dancing or are under 16, please contact the director.

A Murder Is Announced

Based on the Agatha Christie novel, this will be directed by Mani Sester. Another accent-heavy show, they require one woman who can do a Hungarian accent while the rest of the actors will perform British accents. There will be a dialect coach at the audition to help.

The Drowsy Chaperone

This is a musical parody of the musical comedies of the 1920s that requires the actors to sing and dance. This will be directed by Steven Meerdink with musical direction given by Sandy Josef. They are looking for 10 men and 7 women between the ages of 20-65.

The Crucible

A play about the Salam Witch Trials, written as an allegory for McCarthyism. Brad Shortridge will cast between 13 and 27 actors, adults in their 20s and older and teenage girls, with some actors taking on multiple roles.

Clue: On Stage

An adaption of the movie, this comedy play will be directed by Tim Ball. They are looking for actors between the ages of 25-60. One young woman will do an exaggerated French accent, and a man will be taking on a British accent.

Auditions will be at the First Lutheran Church, located in DeKalb at 324 N. 1st St, from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm on March 11 and from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on March 12 and 13.
